Connectivity to SQL box on non-trusted domain via TCP/IP
I have a server on a remote separate (non-trusted) domain. From Enterprise Manager, I can register this server by typing in it's IP address
and the usual user name/password. And on two other NT machines running Enterprise Manager I can successfully connect to this remote machine,
but all the other NT machines on the same domain canNOT connect to that remote server. I can't figure out what is different about those
two machines. I tried checking which protocols the client machines are running and I don't see a pattern there. I assume there must be
some lower level connectivity issue. Thanks for any help.
