Hi, i was wondering what the difference between MySQL, Oracle, Access and MS SQL Server 2000 was in terms of:
Cost
Reliability
Suitability
Usability
Availability
Compatibility
Many Thanks

I prefer SQL Server 2000 because you cannot beat the price (when you consider all the features available in SQL Server).
SQL Server 2005, it is much better with more features, If you can wait!
Remember it depends on the requirement. If you are going to use the database engine portion alone, then you can buy any of these.
