How do I find out which MDAC version my pc is running on and how do I update to the latest version??

You can download comcheck from Microsoft and check mdac version with it.

You can determine the version of MDAC you are running by checking the registry. The version information is found in the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\DataAccess\F ullInstallVer
