Post Transferring SQL Server logins do not retain the default databases

    Hi,

I am transferring logins from SQL Server 7 to SQL Server 2000. I have tried the COPY DATABASE WIZARD, DTS as well as Microsoft's script (sp_help_revlogin/sp_hexadecimal). Somehow the default databases of these transferred logins are not retained in the destination SQL 2000 server. They all default to master database. Is there any way to make the default databases of these logins to be the same as in the original SQL 7 server during the logins transfer ? In all 3 ways I have tried (mentioned above), I have transferred the databases first and then the logins. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
