Unhappy Seem to have a jet engine problem.

    I need help here.
    Simple task:-
Combo box in form used to select a category.
On AfterUpdate event, form is hidden and system opens another form, using the value in the combo box as the where clause in the SQL.
If you open the form (report) without the combo box you get the parameter query pop up asking for the value of the combo box.
Works all the time, used it thousands of time.
Yesterday 13:00 GMT 2/2/04 I get this error
"The Microsoft Jet database engine does not recognise '[Forms]![frmSelectProject]![cboSelectProject]' as a valid field name or expression."

The weird thing is that this error occurs with the combo box open or closed.

I don't know what to do.

I have tried rebuilding and still get the same problem.

This is an application that lies in a CITRIX environment. It seems that there is something corrupt in the environment, but the same error happens on different servers too.

It is not happening on other applications (at the moment, thank god).

Our boffins say there is no evidence on "MyDoom" on the servers.

    Can anybody help?

    Please!!!

    Jim
(Feeling pretty fed up at the moment)

have you checked the references within the application ?

Have you tried a repair on the database ?
