    Homogenous vs Heterogenous DDBMS

    Hi All,

    I would appreciate if someone explain differences btw Homogenous and Heterogenous DDBMS and the usage of such DBMs's in reality.

    My guess is that Homogenous means all databases in your organization are from the same vendor, and heterogenous means you have databases from multiple vendors.
