Backing up to a remote network device

I need to backup a remote Database to a local device. Does anyone know how I do this . How do I define a remote Network device/ what priviliges are needed

It's same as backup db to remove disk. You should start sql agent (sqlexec for sql6.5) with domain account.

Are you backing up a remote SQL server to its local device or to a local device on your machine?

I am attempting to backup a remote database to a device on the local machine (local being where the backup job is running from
