About the Instructor
Wolfgang Eddigehausen was born and grew up in Germany. He studied at the Technical University in Darmstadt where he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Finance and Accounting.

After completing his degree, he started to work for a large German multi national company in 1986. Based on the subjects studied, it was a natural progression getting involved in the Supply Chain Management. He gained a wealth of knowledge in the warehousing and distribution areas as a project member in various countries such as France, Great Britain, and South Africa. In 1992 he took up an offer as a project manager for the SAP R/2 implementation of the Material Management and Production Planning modules in South Africa. From there it was a small step to get involved in SAP R/3, which he did when joining a local South African consulting house in 1994. He is currently still working with the same company, specializing on the SAP R/3 Logistics Modules, and lately on the SAP New Dimension Product, APO.

He is a certified SAP consultant in Material Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Accelerated SAP (ASAP). During the last years he was involved in various activities and projects in Europe, South Africa, Singapore, Australia, and the USA. He is fully dedicated towards the Supply Chain Management area and the use of SAP APO in particular. His area of expertise includes not only the general Supply Chain Management area, but also a very detailed knowledge of the APO package. Knowing the problems accompanied with getting started on a new platform like APO, he decided to write the book, Understanding SAP APO, to the benefit of all who need to gain an in-depth knowledge of APO.
