View entries from a Database (MSACCESS) into a WebPage.
Hello, I`m very new on this topic, I don`t know nothing about ASP, Databases, but I can write HTML codes.
I have a database file on my Harddisk, I have a ISDN line to connect to a server provider. I have 2 MB of diskspace
on the Internet. How can I view the database entries on the internet trough a webpage?
Do I need to make a CGI directory? use scipts? ASP? what else do I need to do or know to make this posible?
I only want to view some entries, (not edit).
Please help. !!!

Hi Natasha,
Your service provider will need to install ASP-db onto their server. Once they do that, you`ll just have to create a 3 line ASP program that points to your database (on the server also), and ASP-db will to the best.
If your ISP can`t install ASP-db (a Unix only shop for example), choose one that will! Check out our list of ISP`s that host ASP-db at:
http://www.aspdb.com/isp.asp
Thanks,
John
