Databases per instance of SQL Server 2000
Hello,
Does anyone know what is the maximum number of databases per instance of SQL Server 2000 (just one SQL Server instance on a machine) that we should run to avoid performance issues? Microsoft lists 32,767 as the maximum possible but I don't think we should have that many databases run by one instance of SQL Server.
thanks!
