My C: volume is very small. When I try to create a database on the E: volume of my NT Server I get the following error:

Server: Msg 5105, Level 16, State 4
Device activation error. The physical file name `eata
imswhse.mdf` may be incorrect.
Server: Msg 1802, Level 16, State 4
CREATE DATABASE failed. Some file names listed could not be created. Check previous errors.
The CREATE DATABASE process is allocating 10.00 MB on disk `RIMS_DATA`.
The CREATE DATABASE process is allocating 3.00 MB on disk `RIMS_LOG`.

I can easily create a database on the c: volume using the same script, substituting c: for e:. I can also create a backup device in eata.

I am using Beta 3. This is my first attempt at using SQL Server of any version, so I don`t know if there is something I have to learn first or if this is a bug.

Help!
