Restore File

hi

I want restore the backup files. This backup was done by somebody else. So i don't know about the sort order, unicode collation and character set... of that files. How do i find those information to restore?

The sort order, unicode collation and character set relates to the server settings, not the backup file itself. If you are restoring to a new server and are saying that you don't know what these settings are on the old server, try the restore. It will fail if the backup is of a different sort order than the new server. And, the error message you receive will tell you the sort order of the old server and the new server.
