Linked Server Question

I want to "trigger" an insert on a table to insert into a similar table on a linked server. But it doesn't seem to work. I can't do replication. Any suggestions? FYI. We are separated by a firewall, and not Domain members.


Here is the error
Server: Msg 7392, Level 16, State 2, Procedure ReportRequestINSERT_trg, Line 5
Could not start a transaction for OLE DB provider 'SQLOLEDB'.
[OLE/DB provider returned message: Only one transaction can be active on this session.]
