Dear Fellow Administrators,

I am having a process problem with SQL Mail. I have successfully set up the profile in SQL 7.0. This person is also the service login account so the compatability is ok here. Our system uses Microsoft NT 4.0, Enterprise Edition on a Dell 6300 Dual Processor. I have IE 5 and SP 4 installed and these are operating fine on the server. But when I go into the Support Service folder and test the profile, I get a successfull MAPI session. BUT HERE IS THE RUB! When I go to start the SQL Mail, I have to get into Task Manager and end the process, it stops responding! I have no idea and am at anyone and everyones mercy! Any immediate assistance would be greatly appreciated.
