    Replication

Never mind my clustering question. I think my question should really be: Can I replicate between SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 7.0 and would I need the Merge replication to synchronize data between two databases.

    Thanks

    Replication (reply)

You can definitely replicate between the two. I try to stay away from merge replication though because of the overhead. I usually like to use a push subscription from the 2000 box with the distributor on the same machine. They have moved some of the replication tools around that you should be aware of.
