    Recover Potentially Damaged .mdf

    I need to recover data from a .mdf & .ldf data base using SQL 2005 - i need help VERY URGENTLY

    a. what errors did you get?
    b. where did you get the .mdf and .ldf file?
    c. Do you have a backup?

    you could try the third party tool log explorer

    For that matter, you don't even state that the files are on your machine (or one with which you have connectivity), or whether this is even any more than a theoretical question. Please advise of status - lest we assume it is just another "urgent" need where the supplicant simply beams up thereafter.
