Needs help...to start with sql

Hi All,

I am new to this stuff, i would like to ask help how could i commence in applying modules and macros in access. Does this has to do with sql and dba? are they all related. I am really am confused and needs and intro before i start. My knowledge is up to filtering database using the filter form down to applying the action queries in access. Would anyone be of help to upgrade my ignorance.
