    Smile Exporting MS ACCess to MS Excel

    How many rows can we export from MS Access to MS Excel? It seems an error always occur when i'm trying to export a huge number of lines.

    Excel will only handle 65536 rows of data. Of course if each record does not have too many fields, you could start over at row 1, column AA for example and then you could add another 65536 rows. Or you could buy Excel 2007 which holds a whole lot more rows, but I don't know how many. I just know it is a lot more than the "current" 65536 limit.

    More than likely, whatever you are trying to do can be done much better in Access by someone that knows what they are doing in Access.
