    Access Export to Excel

    Data in a db field I'm trying to export from MS Access to Excel has multiple lines and some different characters such as *. The export gives me a Run-time Error 1004 Application-defined or Object-defined error. But only when it's trying to export the specific column with multiple lines into a cell all other data exports fine.

    Any ideas?

    Assign the field you're trying to export to a string and export it as the string value.

    I've had this same problem before and this worked for me.
