about carrier option

Hi,

i am nilesh, new in the forum.This is my first attempt to make a quiry to an expert. So, in case of any mistake , please forgive me.

Actualy, i compleated my B-tech. in electonics, and i preferred to go for software field. But i am very comfused regarding to selection of field. seems in B-tech , i passed from the softwre courses ,like SQL,XML.VB.NET,ASP.NET. Now i planning to go for any one from above field.Can you please suggest me,which one is better to go? and in case of SQL, what front end should i select?

You dont have to master both backend and frontend.

If you like to advance your career in DBA line then just try to learn and master the back-end.

Eg: SQL Server DBA or Oracle DBA or DB2 DBA etc or SQL Server developer.

If you like to advance your career in application developer line then just try to learn and front end like
vb.net / C# / Java etc
Eg: .net developer, Java developer

Search one of the job websites and look for sql developer or programmer and see how many hits you got. depending on the result you could choose.
