Thread: cannot connect?

    Question cannot connect?

    I used an online tutorial to install mysql and when I go to the command prompt and navigate to c:/mysql/bin/mysql, I get an error:
    Cannot connect to MySQL server on localhost
    Why can I not connect?

    I got same type of problem......I am also looking for some solution.....whould anybody know the problem?

    Is MySql running? What did you see in MySql admin?
