any issues bn sql6.5 and NT sp4

Does anyone know of any issues that need to be considered when installing NT sp4.
Since doing so we are getting unexpected database behaviour

The event log was full due to the following:
Dr. Watson writes an entry into the Windows NT event log after a program has encountered an unhandled exception, SQL Executive can encounter problems reading the
Windows NT Application event log. Under these conditions, SQL Executive will write an event log entry approximately every second until the event logfills up (if no
wrapping) or is cleared:
this appears to be what is happening.
