Upgrade Question

We need to ungrade to 2000 Server and it must be a clean install. I have a
couple of books that talk about upgrading but neither of them explain how
you build a new 2000 Server and migrate over your information.

We have 1 PDC that is NT 4.0 with SP6a
We need to build a brand new (on new hardware) 2000 Server.

How do you get all of your SAM database and print server settings from your
old NT 4.0 PDC to you new Active Directory 2000 Server?

Any help or links would be great.

backup the db's from the 7 box, and restore it on the new 2k server. It'll upgrade the db while it restores. Just do the standard maint. stuff afterwords, sp_updatestats, etc.
