(urgent)problem in running vb programme from sql server

dear friend,
i use task scheduler to run a vb programme from sql server
in the task history dialog box it is saying that the process is active but the problem is that in vb programme i am having a messagebox which it is not showing does it mean that the programme is working or not
so i am in a problem please tell me the solution of this problem as early as possible

Suggestions:

Use NT's taskmanager to see if the process is running.
Does the VB app do what it should do?
