    Point inTime recovery

    Hi Guys,
I wanted to know how to do a point in time recovery on sql server 2000.
I wanted to go back in time when I restore the file.
Can u also suggest any good book about it. Does BOL explains about it, I couldn't find it in BOL.
    Thanks in advance.

    Time Machine. Just kidding

u need to take as much as tranlog backup, so that u can go back to any time
    u want and recover.

Try lumingent log explorer. Thats a nice tool to see what was going on and if u need it creates script for u.
