Replication using TCP/IP - in SQL Server 6.5

I believe someone in this forum replicate using tcp/ip. I am trying to do one for the past one week, facing an error message " not able to establish a trusted connection". I read the books online, Microsoft tech help,none give me a solution to this.. Can someone help me out.

Replication uses trusted connections to distribute data, trusted connections are presently only available over named pipes. So you must talk to your subscriber over named pipes.

The account you have started SQL Executive under needs permissions to your subscriber.
