Hello all,

as the thread title suggests, we have a database set up so that the LOGARCHMETH1 uses the VENDOR directive to back up archive logs to Networker.
In the event, that the connection to Networker is not available the archive logs are created in the transaction log folder, which is fine.

The problem is, that I do not get any error or warning message in the db2diag.log. I tried increasing the DIAGLEVEL to 4 but still, there is no info in the db2diag.log that DB2 was unable to archive the log to VENDOR.

Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem or how to enable the warnings or maybe if there is some table in DB2 I could select to see if any recent archive logs were not backed up to vendor ? I would like to create a Check MK test that would monitor this.

I am using Windows 2019 Server as OS on which DB2 11.5 is running.
