    Will reinstalling MS Office affect my Office data files?

    By uninstall and install MS office, shall l lose soma datas? Thank you.

    When in Doubt - always backup important data.

    Did you know MS Office has a repair tool? You can google->ms office repair tool (to find more information)

    Outlook might give you some trouble.... It depends on how you are using it... The POP3 method stores all info into a .PST file. When you recreate the Outlook user account you want to make sure to point to the original PST file.

    If during the installation process, the setup wizard asks you to delete or keep the files then its good. Otherwise you should make a backup as the installer may uninstall the program and delete the files made before and then reinstall.
