    What DBMS to use?

    Hello:
I am helping out a small museum to organize their contacts and members. We have about 1400 members and each contains names, addresses, email address, and dues history. I would like to migrate this over to a data base system with a decent GUI interface that can be used to run reports, make updates, etc. Our data now is in excel and I would like to be able to do a bulk upload of the excel file into the DBMS. I've been looking and either the software is expensive (we're a non-profit so free is best for us), sales oriented, or requires coding knowledge to do the customization. I have a little coding experience, but that was years ago.

Any advice you can provide is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.

Have you looked at Salesforce?. They provide free software for non-profits.
