    SQL Mail - Operator Error

I am having a problem with SQL Mail running via Exchange. SQL Mail starts with no problems. However, I am getting errors when creating an Operator and attempt to send a test message from the SQL Server Operator tab in Enterprise Manager.

Error 17914 [SQL Server] Unknown recipient: Parameter `@recipients`, recipeint `Holtz, Dave`.

Our Exhange person created a profile called `sql server`. He also created an Exchange account for sql server. SQL Server and SQL Executive login under the service login id `sqlserver`. The service login id `sqlserver` was also the NT login id that the sql server SQL Mail account was created under. Also, I logged into NT using the `sqlserver` login id and connected to Exchange with no problem. While in Exchange I was also able to send a message to the `sqlserver` Exchange account.

    Any suggestions.

    Thanks, Dave Holtz

SQL Mail - Operator Error (reply)

    Hi
I think You must separate recipients by semicolon, not by comma.

    Bye
