    Newbee on Dabase

    Hi.

    I would like to create a well designed database using access and excel that I can use to automate the handling and monitoring of our company clients and some other admin functions. Anyone knows of any forums/sites/tutorial on how to do such? I am not much of a pc-based programmer and the things I know about MS Access have already been forgotten.

    What I aim on this project is to acquire new technical skills and create a well designed Administration System.

    Hope anyone out there can help me

    Welcome to the forum.

    Documenting your High Level User Requirements is the first important part of the project.

    Search the internet for System Life Cycle this describes the various stages of developing a system from scratch to the production stage and the ongoing maintenance.
