    Post Sql SerVer Restore

    Hi Guys..
    I am going to restore a database using .Bak File.
    Is it possible to check the database table Vs Old BackUp tables. if find any changes in Current db (or backUp file) i Dont Want to restore the Db..

    You need third party tools to query against backup file. The other option is restoring it with different name then you can compare between dbs.

    Idera has a tool called Virtual database to do that.
