SQL Server 2000 SP4 only use 1 CPU although I configured Parallelism

    Hi all Professional.

I'm using SQL Server 2000, upgraded to SP4 version, enterprise edition. My Server has 16 CPUs, 16 GB RAM.

I configured SQL Server on Parallelism "Use all available processors". That means SQL Server can use unlimited CPUs. But when monitoring, I reconized that SQL Server only 1 CPU instead of 16 CPUs. I don't know why?

    Please help me on this.

    Thanks and Best Regards.

How did you check that? Sql doesn't run statement in parallel unless necessary.
