Question Maintain Font Format During Import

Is there a way to maintain the font format from Excel into Access? We are changing some type within a cell to red font and underlining but that does not come with when we import that excel worksheet into Access.

What version of Access are you using?

How are you import? Excel Automation or something else?

    Access 2003

I am using Access 2003. This would be a macro that will use the Transfer Spreadsheet action and Import Transfer Type from an Excel file given a directory path and will import/append into a system table within the Access database.
