    Write Conflict

    Hi

    Keep getting a message on different records with the message "This record has been changed by another user since you started to edit it".

    We have a multi-user FE / BE environment all in Access 2003.

    Found a fix at MS (KB 837937) but it doesnt seem to work. Any had this before and how did you resolve it?

    Is the problem occurring with a singel user on the record?

    If yes, one possible cause:

    Are you running any update queries from the form to modify the current record's data?

    If yes, then you must make sure to save the record before running the query.

    If this is not the issue/fix, then please give more details.

    Hi

    Just checked and there no update queries being used. I am still waiting to hear if it is one user - seemed to be when reported but I am now told that it is intermittent. If you go back into the record it does not necessarily reoccur.
