    SQL 2000 import

First off, want to say that I am new to this. I need to create a table and column names from an xls file. How do I go about doing this? Thanks for your help.

You can use DTS wizard to do it. On Enterprise Manager, right click the target database and select Import, then you can follow the wizard.

... be sure to check your data types, non - null settings, etc., in the table properties ...

Let us know if you have further questions ...
