ä causing sqlcmd to fail
I am using sqlcmd to run a series of .sql files to upgrade a database. Where osql used to work fine, sqlcmd is failing when i try to ALTER PROCEDURE on a proc that has
,field1 as Kontrollkästchen23
,field2 as Kontrollkästchen25
,field3 as Kontrollkästchen27
The ä is being replaced by ,, (two commas) which is then causing the ALTER PROC to fail.
any ideas?

It has option to specify codepage.

How do I know which codepage to specify?

What language is Kontrollkästchen?
Use this chart to identify your code page

It's German but pretty much everything else in the database is in English. I believe the stored procedure is using these fieldnames because they are used as headers on a report used in Germany.
As a point of interest, I can see that ä (the one I want) is ASCII(132) in codepage 850 and ,, (the one I'm getting) is ASCII(132) in codepage 437.
