Cannot select records

I have a access front end database, in which I have a form that allows selecting of customers in a drop down list. The problem is that when selecting of a entry from the list it produces the following message..

'cannot add record(s); primary key for table 'Customers' not in recordset.'

Any ideas why im getting this message, thanks in advance

Do you have primary key defined for customers table?
