column count error

Firt of all i have pulled my hair out, honest, i have a problem on my site and i think it is the database, can some one please help, second i know bog all, looks nice in there and thats all i know lol,

down to the problem, wen some one signs upto my site, they get their email confirmation, then when they click on it and it takes tem back to the site it says invalid action,
so i dissabled the email function, now they get an email, so they go to the site to log in and it comes up member doesn't exist

so i tried to add members through admin cp, but it comes up with

Column count doesn't match value count at row 1

i have been editing my site for a couple of weeks i ave cecked everything i have done and it didnt involve mysql queries

i used dreamweaver to edit the site.

as anyone come across this problem and how can i fix it, or how much will you charge to fix it.pleeeeeeease

Do u have a backup of all the files before you updated it.

Your best bet is comparing the old files with new files
