    "plugPlayManager" in system log.....

    Hi:

    SQL2000 sp4 Ent.
It looks the "plugPlayManager" in system log lasted from 3/21/2008 5:17:52 pm to 3/21/2008 20:28:22 pm with 20-30 occurrences per minute.
Timed out sending notification of target device change to window of "C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXE"

    according to Microsoft:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/835473
These events may be logged when both of the following conditions are true:
    • A high volume of disk I/O operations are performed.
    • A time-out occurs during the interaction between Logical Disk Manager (LDM) and Plug and Play (PNP).
These messages are only informational and can be safely ignored.

any other idea about this 5 hours "plugPlayManger" activiity?

    thanks
    David
