Hi all,

Ms SQL Server Native Error 18456 !! Login Failed.

Pls help me out.

Did you specify correct sql instance name, logon id and password?

the authentication mode is 'windows authentication', i still get the error.

the error state is '1' ? what does this mean?

Did you add your windows account as sql login in sql server yet?

ya i've already added it before. still the error persists.

Which app did you get this error from? Is sql instance name correct?

i had no other go.... so i recreated the login n the credentials are accepted now.
