    creating an html login page validating passwords from

    I have a data access page i'm trying to protect for the IT Project leaders in my department. I want to create a purely html login page that validates their login via access table in the same database. The database is password protected and i'm the only one with access to it. I have tried various solutions from this forum but none suit my purpose. I need this to be html & vbscript. no php or asp.
    PS i'm kinda new to this as well.

    I truely do not know for sure, but I have never heard of being able to run vbscript in a web page that was not an ASP page.
