Configure SQL Server 2000 on Web Server accessiable to client!!
I recently had configured my Web Server based on Windows 2003 Server and IIS 5x. I'd also installed SQL Server 2005 into this. Now I want toc onfigure this SQL Server, so that my client can access their database through a DNS name. I request you all for your kind support in this regard. Thanks in advance.

Can you tell us more of your network configuration? Are they internet clients? Is sql server behind firewall? Need open sql port if so.

Yes my clients are Internet Client. at this time there is no firewall.

Then should be fine if you have public domain ip address for sql server, but it's bad from security point of view.

But I still won't get the reply I'd wished. My issue is that How can i configure this SQL Server 2005 to get accessed by internet users??

People can access your sql server if it's on internet, that means the server need valid ip address on internet or let it visible via proxy. Can't tell you how because don't know your network.
