    RMAN error 19698

    I took incremental updated backups with RMAN. I did a restore of my database to a new machine and it worked. However when I went to do recovery of my database I got an error saying the redo logs were from a diffrent database. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this situation?

    Did you restore the full backup before restoring incremental backup?
