sqlagent.exe -DLL Intialization Failed

Intialization of the dynamic link library C:\MSSQL7\BINN\SQLREPSS.DLL failed.The process is terminating abnormaly.

when the SQL Agent is on then the message is showing. how do i solve it. Backup Exec not running due to this msg.

Please Help.

What's sp level? Tried reregister the dll file?

i m doing the register the dll file but it's failed to register

How did you register dll file? Should use Regsrv32 in dos prompt.

yes, i register the dll file that way in DOS promt. I use Regsrv32 in dos prompt.

If you can't register it, the file maybe corrupted. I'll copy the file from another good sql7 server and try again.

can u tell me what is my next step. should i extract dll file from sql server CD1. if yes how do i do? i v the back up of hdd back of all dll and all BIN file if i copy past on it and register the dll file. what will happen?

Do you have another sql7 server? Try copy the file from there if so.
