    Msolap 2000 Cube Processing

    In MSOLAP2000, analysis services after full process a cube is getting locked.what could be a problem and workaround for this.

    After full process of cube. Cube got locked. So need to restart msolap services.

    Analysis Server another Machine?

    Probably obvious, but is it safe to assume that the Analysis Server is on another machine and that the "lockout" is happening to the client(s)? Can the "owner" of the cube access it on the Analysis Server? (Is someone, for that matter, editing at present?)

    Would you mind stating a little more about the environment? Please include Service Pack info, as well as a little detail about how you have configured security ... this is a relatively common occurrence, but there are multiple possible reasons ...
