Move logins FROM 2000 TO 2005

Need help migrating logins and passwords FROM SQL 2000 TO SQL 2005. I have posted in other forums and still get the response to see MS Article 246133. THIS DOES NOT WORK!

Both servers are in the same domain. It seems some accounts (very few) come over. I was told this may be due to passwords not being strong enough on the 2000 server and that SQL2005 checks Active Directory for passwords. This does not make COMPLETE sense since SQL accounts did not come over.

How can I accomplish this? I tried moveing accounts to another SQL 2K and then upgrading but I get a password length error or something like that.

Any ideas?

I use copy logins task in SSIS, always works for me.
