Oracle Installation - Config data and log file

    Hi -

I am new to Oracle world, and trying to lean the best practise for installing it. In SQL, the recommendation is to have data and log files on seprate drive and on different Raids. Is it the case with Oracle? If so, can u please guide on where to get such info for Windows environment. Also do u have any link to Oracle clustering on Windows configuration setup?

    Thanks,
    Lava

Oracle has a concept of Oracle Flexible Architecture (OFA), which tells you to separate system tablespaces from data tablespaces. It also tells you to create tablespaces for different usage in different drives.

The gist is search for OFA.
