Which database

I just started working in a small consulting company which pretty much exclusively relies on excel to manipulate, report and graph data. To me it seems this would work faster and more accurately (less cutting and pasting) if on a database.

The data is pretty static, just gets updated periododically, but needs graphics to display so reports can be printed. Right now pdfs are created and sent to the printer.

I would appreciate any suggestions on the database and graphics software that could make this work.

Try sql server, it comes with reporting service.
