Can we access Oracle 10g server from 9i client?

Hi,

Can we access Enterprise Manager of Oracle 10g from 9i client?
If yes,please tell me the steps for the same.
I even tried the server IP address but an error was enountered saying that the IP address is unable to determine.

Enterprise Manager is part of client, you only have 9i's Enterprise Manager on 9i client machine.

The above is the server EM IP link which i am trying to connect from client.
I am sure that dbconsole has been configured on database.
Can you tell me what i can do to connect the EM?

Need 10g client.

No you do not need client as it is web based. Make sure you can access the link from the management server itself.
